Gingerbread Home for the Arts – Thank You!
On behalf of all of us at SKyPAC, we wish to thank all of those who contributed to the success of the Inaugural Gingerbread Homes for the Arts event. Your support helped raise funds to benefit the children of our region by providing them a comprehensive arts education program that will enrich their lives by promoting creativity, social development, personality adjustment, and self-worth. A very special thanks to our sponsors, committee members, volunteers, gingerbread house entries, and those who made “Spice Up the Night” an evening to remember. Throughout this holiday season, gingerbread ornaments, created by the kids themselves, will be on sale with all proceeds going to fund a special SKyPAC Arts Workshop for the Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green. Our vision at SKyPAC is to inspire every individual in the region to value, create, explore, and celebrate art. This can only be achieved with the generous support of the community, and we sincerely thank you. Plans… (Read More)

My fascination with satellite views of fields and the lay of the land began my quest to show the earth in an abstract expressionist way. This journey has taken me to points on the map that use to state, Here Be Dragons. It has been a journey of exploration, truths and consequences, but most of all, change. This group of paintings show a metamorphosis of my… (Read More)

Country Music Hall of Famer, Ronnie Milsap, adds Bowling Green, Kentucky to his Farewell Tour for March 10, 2016 at 7:30 PM (CST). An american country music singer and pianist, Ronnie Milsap is credited with six Grammy Awards and forty No. 1 country hits, third to George Strait and Conway Twitty. RONNIE MILSAP ranks as the preeminent country soul singer of his generation. He also represents much more than any two-word definition can convey: a humble, overtly friendly fellow with a talent as vast and multi-dimensional as the American South. Milsap provided country music with one of its most important voices, as the genre was moving beyond its rural roots into the mainstream of modern entertainment. Country music couldn’t have found a man more suited to lead the charge. Steeped in the mountain music of the North Carolina hills and schooled in classical piano, Milsap early in life found inspiration in a wide variety of music. Even as he mastered… (Read More)
