STYX COMING TO SKyPAC THIS OCTOBER
SKyPAC adds American hard rock band, Styx, to its performance schedule for Fall 2016. The six men comprising Styx have committed to rocking the Paradise together with audiences far and wide by entering their second decade of averaging over 100 shows a year, and each one of them is committed to making the next show better than the last. Styx is scheduled to perform on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 25th at 10:00 AM (CST) at TheSKyPAC.com, by phone at 270-904-1880 or in person at the SKyPAC box office. South Central Kentucky High School Senior Awarded National 2016 Scholastic Art & Writing Medal
The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center would like to congratulate Ellan Luna for receiving an American Visions Medal on the National level in this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her painting entitled “Changes.” Ellan is a senior at Bowling Green High School and a student in Mr. W.T. Stinson’s art class. Ellan’s work, along with that of her fellow National Medalists, will be honored during a special awards ceremony at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City this June. All National recipients are eligible for a wealth of additional opportunities such as inclusion in the Art.Write.Now.Tour traveling exhibition and The Best Teen Writing anthology. Summer Camp 2016!
It’s almost that time of the year again! There’s still a little chill in the air, but our summer camp planning has been underway for 2016. Registration information available here. We are proud to continue the tradition of bringing in Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), one of the country’s leader’s in youth theatre, to SKyPAC for two fun-filled weeks.
