Campers will study different techniques and work with a variety arts, styles, and mediums. Come get messy, have some FUN, and be creative with us at The Art Factory!!!

THE ART FACTORY INSTRUCTOR:

Morgan Conwell has been teaching Visual Art in Tennessee and Kentucky for over a decade and has taught ages ranging from toddlers to senior citizens. She has illustrated two books and has nationally accredited publications on STREAM learning in Momentum magazine. Conwell has actively participated in a wide range of gallery exhibitions throughout Kentucky and Tennessee. Conwell received her Bachelors in Fine Art and Master of Teaching Degree at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. She is currently a candidate for the Principalship Cohort program at Western Kentucky University.

Morgan believes learning should be fun and creativity is one of the most important tools you can have in your toolbox. She has run many successful camps and is looking forward to this fun, creative production of The Art Factory this summer, inspired by one of her favorite artists, Andy Warhol.

PRICING DETAILS:

The pre-registration fee is $150.00 if you register before May 25, 2018. If you register after May 25, 2018, the fee is $175.00. Fees includes instructor rate and basic art supplies for the week’s activities.

CAMP SIZE:

Camp is limited to 15 students to provide quality instruction. If the session is full, your child can be placed on a waiting list. There is no fee for being on the waiting list, nor is any credit card information required. If a spot becomes available, the waiting list is called. You can accept or decline the offer with no penalty. Your name will stay on the waiting list until the day that session begins.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP INFORMATION

Campers need to be dropped off and picked up at the Capitol Arts Center located at 416 East Main Street. Campers must sign-in every morning and a parent or guardian must sign them out at the end of each day. If someone other than a parent or guardian is picking them up, campers must have a note with them informing the staff.

ATTENDANCE & SNACK:

It is important for Campers to be present at all sessions of camp. It is also recommended all Campers bring a water bottle labeled with their full name and at least one nutritious snack.

CLOTHES, SHOES & ELECTRONIC DEVICES:

Campers need to wear comfortable clothing that can get MESSY. We will be working with paints and other mediums that may stain clothing. If a camper must wear a skirt there must be shorts or leggings worn underneath. Campers must also wear closed-toed shoes. Please, no flip flops. Please leave all electronic devices at home. Parents, if your camper is required to carry a cell phone, it MUST be on silent during the session.

CONFIRMATIONS:

Enrollment will be confirmed by email. Additional camp information will be sent to your email two (2) weeks prior to the session for which you are enrolled or, if enrolled “week of” or “day of” you will be provided all information at that time.

CANCELLATIONS:

SKyPAC will issue a refund for cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of class, less a mandatory $50.00 cancellation fee. Within two weeks of a class, there will be no refunds.
