Swan Lake, the ballet of all ballets, will be performed one night only as a part of the World Ballet Series with a live score played by the Orchestra KentuckySee the iconic Dance of the Little Swans, count the 32 fouettés performed by the Odile, and immerse yourself in magical Tchaikovsky’s music.

The production will feature richly detailed, hand-painted sets as well as over 150 radiant costumes that bring fresh representation to this timeless classic.

World Ballet Company’s signature program, World Ballet Series presents the most beloved and iconic ballets of our time in cities across the country. Driven by the belief that ballet is for everyone, performances appeal to newcomers and seasoned balletgoers alike. The company attracts many international artists and is composed of renowned professional dancers representing over ten countries.

To date, World Ballet Series has traveled to more than 280 cities reaching an audience of more than 250,000, many of whom are first-time attendees to a ballet.

Founded in 2000 as the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Kentucky swiftly overcame early challenges with local support, evolving into a thriving ensemble. Incorporating diverse musical genres, including classical, show tunes, bluegrass, and innovative pieces, led to increased season ticket sales, budget growth, and expanded attendance.

The orchestra, under Music Director Jeffrey Reed’s consumer-oriented approach, emphasizes entertainment and education. The mission, “Changing lives… one note at a time,” is achieved through accessible and enjoyable programming that resonates with audiences.
