“heARTS BEHIND THE VIOLENCE”: Art by Incarcerated Youth at the Fayette and Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Centers

heARTS BEHIND THE VIOLENCE is a statewide traveling exhibit made possible by On the Move Art Studio and the KY Rural-Urban Exchange. The show features work created by incarcerated youth at the Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center and the Fayette Regional Juvenile Detention Center. On the Move Art Studio works with these youth once a week, connecting with them through different artistic mediums. On the Move’s mission is to provide free art classes to underserved communities, offering a positive and creative outlet.
