Jesse Ray Sims & Jennifer Bruton Sims: Relics & Reflections

Relics & Reflections is a joint exhibition from husband-and-wife artists Jesse Ray Sims and Jennifer Bruton Sims, exploring themes of memory, landscape, and the passage of time.

Jesse Ray Sims’ work draws from his background in architectural drafting and restoration, blending gothic influences with imagery from rural Kentucky. His paintings reflect a quiet reverence for fading structures and forgotten spaces.

Jennifer Bruton Sims showcases mixed media pieces that incorporate monotype prints, collage, and painting. Her Cedar Sink and Lifescape series explore the serenity of nature and the fragile, evolving nature of human relationships.

Together, their work invites viewers to reflect on the spaces we inhabit, both physical and emotional, and the stories they carry.
