Now on view in the Goodwin Gallery, Marquez: Artworks by David Mitchell Marquez & David Angelos Marquez is a joint exhibition featuring new works by David Mitchell Marquez alongside an introduction to the art of David Angelos Marquez. Though united by name and Kentucky roots, each artist brings a distinct perspective to the conversation.

David Mitchell Marquez is a sculptor and fabricator with a background in metal casting, mold making, and mixed-media construction. His work—exhibited nationally and abroad—draws on traditional craft and a deep sense of community, exploring form through process and material.

David Angelos Marquez, a current student at the University of Kentucky, blends pen and ink, digital media, and sculpture to reflect on contemporary human experience. His surreal and abstract works explore the intersection of nature, technology, and emotion.

Together, their work offers a compelling dialogue between past and present, analog and digital, grounded in both technique and vision.
