Ready For Me Art Campaign

Students Participating from: Side by Side Studio, Phoenix Rising, Little Scholars and Warren Co. Head Start

THE READY FOR ME ART CAMPAIGN is an ongoing collection created by children, teachers, parents, and community members. It is led by members of the Kentucky Area Working Group Defending the Early Years in partnership with Side by Side Studio and Defending the Early Years.

The goal of the campaign is to share the thoughts, hopes, and freedom-dreaming (Ki Gross) of those in early childhood spaces every day, with those working on behalf of children and families in early childhood.

READY FOR ME believes that it is we who need to be ready for the children who come to us.

Who are they?

What do they love?

Who loves them?

How do they best learn?

What is appropriate for us to be asking of them at this time in their lives?

What will end up mattering most as they grow up?

What rights do they have that need protection?
