Presented in partnership with the Aviation Heritage Park, National Cave Museum, Hidden River Cave, Chris Carmichael, and Dr. Tim Donley, The Floyd Collins Exhibition brought to life the incredible legacy of Kentucky’s most storied cave explorer. This immersive experience featured interactive elements, historical timelines, and authentic artifacts—including original newspaper clippings and articles chronicling Floyd’s tragic entrapment in 1925. The exhibit not only explored the events surrounding Floyd’s ordeal but also highlighted the broader impact on media, rescue operations, and Kentucky’s cave culture.
