Bowling Green, KY — (Monday, April 9, 2018) – Each spring, the WKU League of Sculptors exhibit a selection of their artwork in the SKyPAC Main Gallery. This spring, the exhibition runs from Monday, April 2 – Friday, May 25, 2018.
THIQUE: We are a group of artists and makers originating from many parts of the United States. We work alongside each other as students of Western Kentucky University. The work from this exhibition is a collection of the diversity that exists in our sculpture curriculum. This collection of beginning, intermediate, and advanced student work brings to light the creativity, labor, craft, and the depth of concept nurtured in sculpture. The League of Sculptors is “Thique” with evolution. We work as individuals and as a group to strengthen our ability to communicate in a visual language. This exhibition celebrates that “Without each other, our work would not be the same.”
