There’s something special about summer camp at SKyPAC which has quickly become one of the highlight’s of our year! Campers fill our rehearsal spaces with excitement and dreams of being a star on stage! We have teamed up with Missoula Children’s Theatre the last five summers to provide youngsters in our community with the opportunity to “star” in a full-scale musical. The week-long residencies are open to children in grades 1st-12th who will work with a team of two professional tour actor/directors (TAD’s) from MCT. Arriving with scenery, costumes, props, and make-up, campers will spend the week learning line, songs and choreography to perform the ensemble that is presented to the public at the end of the week. g Magic Camp featuring Kevin Spencer, which began last summer and received RAVE reviews from our campers. Spencer works with youth, ages 8-16, in half-day sessions, teaching them the art of magic, illusion, sleight of hand, and a number of other tricks that “wow” family and friends.The week culminated with a live showcase at the Capitol Arts Center.
